Driver’s Education Classroom and Student Behind the Wheel are for new drivers 18 years of age and below. Before a student begins the Student Behind the Wheel only program, proof of completion of a driver education classroom course must be submitted. We will gladly give details about how to aquire your completion document if you have already completed the classroom portion prior to enrolling into our Student Behind the Wheel program.
Classroom Driver’s Education requires 30-36 periods of classroom instruction. Classroom topics include but are not limited to basic driving techniques, defensive driving, rules of the road, alcohol, motorcycle awareness, and adverse driving conditions. To pass the classroom portion of the driver education course, a minimum score of 80% on the signs and knowledge final exams is required.
